"Art Pharm was set up by Rachel Campbell and Sasha Jackson in January 2007. In February we opened our premises in a derelict pharmacy on the Maryhill Road, Glasgow, offering 10 studio spaces to local contemporary artists and craftspeople. Our aim is to provide easily accessible, affordable studio spaces, while maintaining links with both the public and a dedicated artists infrastructure. We envisage Art Pharm gallery to become a diverse venue, promoting a wide aray of local creative talent."

Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop

Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop was established in 1987 by a group of artists to create a centre of excellence for sculptural activities within Scotland. The workshop’s first premises was at Albion Road. After 5 years, the organisation had outgrown the building and after much searching the site at Hawthornvale was fixed on as a suitable space. Metal and wood-working facilities were installed and 12 studios were built.
Over the years, the organisation has developed a successful education and outreach programme and now works with a range of arts and associated organisations providing workshops, classes, site visits and collaborating on projects and commissions.

It is a space where anyone can put on events, show work, or be involved in other types of projects. Forest is not commercially motivated. This allows us to experiment with projects which may not be possible for normal commercial organizations.
